Nearly 30,000 members belong to more than 1200 clubs in 67 countries and geographic areas. The yellow rose is the symbol of Zonta and the official colors are maroon and gold. The Zonta Club of Fredericksburg, TX was established
on August 28, 1954. As a member of Zonta International, our club provides services that benefit women and children in International programs like
We Can Cambodia and
Days for Girls
as well as to the Fredericksburg, TX community by assisting in programs that benefit women and children including:
Tuition Scholarships for women and high school girls
Fredericksburg Food Pantry
Hill Country Needs Council
Hill Country Battered Women's Shelter
American Cancer Society through the local Relay for Life
Girl Scouts of America Local Unit
Gillespie County Child Services Board
raising funds for all of the above advocacies and services.
Zonta Club of Fredericksburg General Membership meetings are held at 6:30p.m. on the third Monday of the month at the Golden Hub Senior Center located at 1009 N Lincoln St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624. When there are special programs for outreach to the public, designated locations in Fredericksburg are used to accommodate larger groups.
